Group Research and Planning: Initial group meeting

Synopsis: Socially deprived Sophie, known as S, lives her life wanting to be someone else. She has never had friends or even a stable relationship. So when she moves to college she plummets into her own derelict world of feeling lost and helpless. That was until she met Jenna. One conversation was all they shared, however this was one conversation Jenna should never of had.
S begins to fixate on Jenna by admiring her gestures and tries to match her personality. Eventually S decides she must become Jenna. She thought at first being her friend would be enough. She wrote her a letter to explain her intense jealousy and anguish, desperately hoping Jenna would understand. However fearing rejection, she decides to replace her.
Constantly watching her every more, S slowly knows Jenna's routine of by heart and starts to tear it down bit by bit. Motivating dark thoughts about her life, Jenna begins to break down. Paranoia, hostility, and a constant need for answers means, she has no friends and no relationship, the only person she has is herself. Or is she truly alone?!

Setting: Our film trailer will be set in the present day, Jenna and Sophie first meet at College (East Norfolk Sixth form College). Being staked we invade Jenna's home and also end up in the stalkers bedroom. A Series of events then lead them into a dark and grungy warehouse/shed.

Character Profiles: Our main character in the film will be the stalker. They will be a female named Sophie but she can also be known as S. She will be 18 years of age meaning she's in her teenage years going onto being an adult. She will typically be a young, psychotic girl who goes around stalking our other main character.
Our second main character will be the victim. They will also be female who's called Jenna. Again she will be of the same age as the stalker, this being 18 years old. The film itself will be based around her life and the fact that she gets stalked.
Another character in the film will be the boyfriend of the victim. He will be an 18 year old male named Nathan. As he is Jenna's boyfriend he falls victim to Sophie and is killed by her due to jealousy.

The final character within the film is the victims best friend. Her name is Olivia and will also be 18 years old. She will just feature in scenes which will show to make Sophie jealousy. She also gets killed off by the stalker as she is jealous of her.

Target Audience: Our primary target audience is for mainstreams audiences under the age of 25. This is because we are following general conventions so main streamers will like our film and also people under the age of 25 will be able to relate to the movie as they will be at school, college and university, etc. Our secondary target audience is general horror fanatics. They will enjoy the film because we will try to make it as scary as we can so they will like it.
